"Christmas is here..."

Christmas Festivities
Sammy has been keeping a good eye on the kids since our last post. We have been quite busy with play dates, crafts, baking and lots of packing for our trip to Pennsylvania the day after Christmas.

Sammy has been dipping into the candy bowl.

Atop the 'ol Christmas tree

Where's Sammy??

A little love note for Miss Payton

Hmm...

Sneaky Sammy painted Payton's nose like Rodolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. She slept through the whole thing....

Payton's Kindergarten Holiday party was so much fun! We made lots of crafts, ate yummy snacks and played with friends.

Payton and her teacher, Mrs. Jamison

And she lost her 3rd tooth at her Christmas Party!

In between Sammy's adventures, wrapping and packing we had two wonderful play dates with Korben (Payton's best friend) and his little sister Annabelle.

Sweet Annabelle tried so hard to keep up with the big kids but she always seemed to have a beautiful little smile on her face.

Two peas in a pod

Let the baking begin...

My lovely assistant, Payton Ashlyn.

My other lovely assistant...

Check out all those baked goodies. We made two batches of Reindeer food, two dozen Candy Cane Blossoms, two dozen Chocolate Gooey Cookies and two dozen Strawberry Gooey Cookies. We had a blast listening to Christmas music and baking lots of goodies for our neighbors, friends and family.

Our homemade Snoopy snow globe.

Our glittery snow white pine cones.

May your Christmas and New Year be filled with love, laughter and joy with family and friends.

Happy Holidays from the Barrett Family!

"Fa la la la la, la la la la..."

It is hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner -- even more so 2012 is right around the corner. We have been quite busy with Christmas festivities lately. We would love to share them with you...

Payton and her class song Christmas carols at Barnes & Noble but our sweet little entertainer was a little to shy to get up an sing with her class. But we did buy a Christmas book to help raise funds for her school -- Sheffield Elementary.

Who couldn't love that silly smile?

After watching Payton's class sing Christmas carols we walked around the mall to sneak in some pictures of the kiddos. A train ride and a visit with the Nutcracker were a MUST...

Grandma, Chuck and the kids making their ornaments to put on Dad and Sandy's Christmas tree.

Aunt Renee and MaKayla Alyson

Dad, Sandy and the grandbabies showing off the Christmas tree.

Chuck and I in front of the tree (boy do I look like a zombie with those dark circles under my eyes...Eek!).

Almost all the kids and grandbabies just missing sweet little Savannah Grace and Alden.

Well, our little Elf on the Shelf Sammy has been up to a lot since our last post...

Giddy-up, Sammy and Barbie!

This is a great view of the kiddos -- don't you think Mr. Monkey?

The night before Christmas and all through the house...

So Mr. Football man, what has Dylan been up too?

What a great view from up here...

What is that silly Sammy up too??

Silly Sammy -- those marshmallows are for kids!

Stay tuned for more of Sammy's adventures and a visit from the tooth fairy...
