This year has flown by....

On February 7th my mother, Libby Brantly passed away at the young age of 51. It has been a very long and difficult road for our little family. But we know that there is a Guardian Angel now watching over us. Through all the tears and grief we have had some smiles and sunshine. I'd like to share a few pictures of my mom and our family.

Here is our story...

She loved her grandbabies

Even her newest grandbaby, Savannah Grace

Always there for us...

With lots of kisses

There for every event, birthday, holiday, etc.

Being our biggest cheerleader

She will forever be in our hearts -- Fly Free

This summer the kiddos spent two weeks with their Aunt Ica in Mount Airy, NC. While they were there Payton lost her first tooth.

Dylan enjoyed two weeks with his dad in Virginia. They camped out, hiked trails and spent quality time together.

School is in! Payton started Kindergarten at Sheffield Elementary and Dylan started 7th grade at Oceanway Middle.
First day of school (and yes, that is Dylan laughing because I am taking a hundred pictures!)

Payton LOVES to practice writing, reading and math. Such a smart cookie!

On September 8th, Miss Payton turned 6 years old. She had a blast with her water slide and all her friends.
Happy Birthday, Payton!

Birthday girl having a blast!

Birthday girl with her new guitar -- singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

This school year Dylan has been playing tackle football for the Oceanway Buccaneers. He is loving it! His positions are Outside Linebacker and Corner Back. We are so proud of him for having fun, learning and supporting his friends on the team!

Best buds!

Dylan and Coach Chuck aka Dad

On September 20th, Chuck and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. We are so blessed to share this journey through life together. Chuck is an amazing husband, best friend and father to our two wonderful kiddos! Here's to many more...

I have found the one whom my soul loves.

Well, that is all for now! Many more things to come before the end of the year -- birthdays, Dylan's homecoming, Savannah's 1st birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and a family vacation to Pennsylvania.
