"Sunny day, sweepin' the clouds away..."

Did you miss me? Well, dear readers it has been a super long week with mid-terms and a very sick little girl. On Thursday my in-laws arrived. They are staying for 10 days to soak up some of this good ol' Florida sunshine
(read: they are from the U.P. of Michigan that currently has snow).

To kick off the weekend Chuck and his parents enjoyed a visit to the
Riverside Art & Fresh Market where there were...

And my mother-in-law made a new friend...

Sadly Payton and I had to miss the visit to the Fresh Market while we stayed home so our sweet girl could feel better. But they enjoyed the array of fresh locally grown, organic produce, fresh breads and pastries and an lots of arts and crafts while Payton and I cuddled and wrote lots of stories.

That evening Payton was up for some late afternoon fishing with grandma and grandpa at our friends pond.

Grandpa helping bait her hook...

The boys rigging up their poles...

Three generations

That is a "I'm so happy to be out of the house" smile...

WORMS...Eek!

But it did not take long before these little guys became her friend...

While the guys are fishing and Payton is helping pass out bait...

I'm holding Payton's rod, taking pictures all while reeling in this nice 'little' catch! Ha!

Spring has arrived!

Was it great weather where you are? Tell me about your weekend.

Stay tuned for our trip to the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando...
