WW: {Rest in Peace}

Cataloochee National Park in the Great Smoky Mountains.

This gorgeous Victorian home is the Caldwell place built in 1903. It's not just a beautiful place at just some random National Park but the creek in front of this home is where I will lay my moms ashes. She adored this place.

I'll honor her wishes an lay her to rest here...

P.S. Sorry this blog post was written from my iPhone on the Blogger app but I had to share this gorgeous photo with you all. xo

  1. I love it. So beautiful! And this post looks great from coming from your iPhone :)

  2. I nominated you for a Liebster Blogging Award! Check it out here :) http://adayinthelifeofamomandawife.blogspot.com/2012/08/liebster-blogging-award.html

  3. What a lovely spot to lay your mom's ashes. It looks so serene. hugs. :)

  4. @Allison, The beauty you see in this picture is only one element of this place. When were where visiting last week there was a sign that said "Please enjoy but do not leave your mark as it will last forever" I know it was meant for people that want to sign their names within the walls of the house, but in that moment I thought that this is the only place for your mother's ashes.

  5. Such a peaceful place, she's smiling right back at you in the beautiful reflection of that creek!

Feel free to leave a comment. It makes my day!
