Today is the 100th day of school. That means only 80 more days until summer break for these kiddos. Payton's school had a big celebration with crafts and fun games to celebration this glorious day.
Until now, I have not heard of this 100th day of school celebration. Apparently it is a big-to-do! Each child is to bring in a 100 of one item. Marbles, puppies, pennies?? Our simple yet fun idea was to count Cheerios and place them on a necklace.
I found lots of fun crafts on Pinterest. If you are on Pinterest, please click the "Pinterest" button to the right of the screen to "follow" me.
Payton and I had fun with her 100th day of school craft. Check it out!
1...2...3...carefully counting each Cheerio. I just love that smile! Snaggletooth.
100 Cheerios later! She counted to 100 by ones, fives and tens. I am a proud mama!
Our finished product...
Also, Payton brought home this week 3 awards with her report card.
She got all E's (A's), Perfect Attendance and Good Citizenship. Way to go, Pay!
Here is a sneak peek at our next post. We are making a special Valentine's for everyone in her class. Do you have any crafty Valentine ideas for kiddos? If you do, please share...
