"How much wood could a Woodchuck..."

...Chuck if a Woodchuck could Chuck wood?

Well my hubby, Chuck has been quite the carpenter these days. He has built Payton an art desk and chair, Dylan a desk, our coffee table, a friends son an art desk and chair, his work bench and now my dad a coffee and end table. We started our morning off with coffee at Starbucks. While we were there we rescued a mama duck and her babies. Great start to the morning!

Next we worked on the coffee and end tables for my dad. I'd like to say I helped build them but I did not. However, I did get to help fill the holes, drill and just waiting to sand and prime them. Chuck gets his DIY plans from Ana White's website. Check out her website here.

Take a peek...

Even the kiddos pitched in to help...a little. Well, it is 92 blazing hot degrees out today in the Sunshine state...whew!

This mama even helped fill and drill some holes...

 It's fun helping the hubs!

Okay, okay so I was taking more pictures than anything but I did get my hands dirty to help here and there. It was really incredibly hot out. But Chuck was a trooper! He finished them up while Payton and I went on a bike ride looking for pine cones to make bird feeders...

It is not hard to find pines cones around here. So we are all set to make our pine cone bird feeders. Here is all you need to get started (we can't eat peanut butter any more so the birdies should enjoy the last of it)...

Sadly it is so hot out that the peanut butter started running...ha! Well, I am off to do more packing for our move in 5 weeks.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

    1. Daneilia,
My hubby gets all his plans from Ana White -- super simple and she gives you all the details on how to build each item. He really joins it. Give your hubs a project to start an I'm sure it will take off from there. Thanks for stopping by! I'm now following you :)
