M.O.S.H. | Summer Daze Photo Party

Now that we are slowly but surely settling in to our new place and the weeks worth of rain has come and gone we can start checking more things off our Summer Bucket list.

If you'd like to join in on the Summer Daze Photo Party be sure to stop by Project Alicia to visit  my lovely blogger buddy, Alicia. It's a fun, no challenge, no props, Summer photo party.

For now, join us as we explore the Museum of Science and History.

“Oh the places you'll go! There is fun to be done! There are points to be scored. There are games to be won. And the magical things you can do with that ball will make you the winning-est winner of all.”

Oh, how I've missed you so...

It's been 13 days since I last blogged which has been way to long! You ask why Dear Readers, well I have a good reason. We've had a wedding to be in, a Kindergartener graduate, a house to pack, etc...

Here's the last two weeks in review.

My dad and Sandy's wedding
Payton is officially a Kindergarten graduate
Lots and lots and lots of packing
Moving...in the pouring rain
Taking care of my grandma with the help of my lovely little assistant
Dylan went to Bible Camp
Swimming and catching bugs
Making wishes
Cooking Father's Day breakfast
Cooking out on the new grill

Now that we are settling in our new home it's time to find some fun stuff to do in our new surroundings. Time to make some Summer memories! My lovely blogging buddy, Alicia at
Project Alica along with other bloggers have come up with a fun and easy Summer Photo party.
They even came up with this cute Bucket list.

Join in on the Sum Sum Suma-time fun! You can participate via blog, Flickr or Instagram.
Go ahead, check it out!

What is on your Summer Bucket list?

The Simple Things | Mother's Day

Hope all of you blogger mama's had a wonderful Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day started off with homemade cards and breakfast made with love...

Next, we were off to the beach to make sand castles, dip our toes in the sand and a picnic by the ocean...

Payton and I worked diligently on not building a sand castle but a Walrus...

Isn't it the cutest Walrus you've ever seen?

After working hard on our Walrus we enjoyed a yummy lunch that daddy made for us. Homemade hoagies, Funyun's (my fave growing up and haven't had them in FOREVER!) and my moms favorite drink -- IBC Rootbeer...yum!

What a great day so far!

After a great day at the beach we did some shopping and then off to my dads and Sandy's for a Mother's Day dinner...

Dipping our toes in the pool, a Harley ride with my dad and some yummy Moscato with dinner. So blessed!

To finish up a wonderful day, Payton and I had an all inclusive tea party with a personal waiter, tea, homemade chocolate covered strawberries and cucumber sandwiches. A spot of tea anyone?

It was the simple things that made this day wonderful!
A mother's job is messy. A mother's job is stinky. A mother's job is hectic. A mother's job is NEVER done. A mother's job is more rewarding than any paycheck.
I am so blessed with two loving and caring children!

How was your Mother's Day? I'd love to hear all about it.
